Of Home and Land; is an exploration of the limbo that one’s might find themselves in after fleeing the war. An exploration of the love-hate relationship the artist has with her own land and the shifting role this geographic location played in hers and many others being.
Haya Halaw is a published illustrator/ painter born and raised in Homs, Syria 1993.Obtained a bachelor degree in English literature. Worked mainly since 2016 on children’s books, editorials, and comics. And has more than 15 published books in and out of the region.
